Stunning Photos of Earth Shot From Space by the ISS Commander

On February 29th this year, Scott Kelly, the former commander of the International Space Station that shot these incredible photos of earth from space, passed the above mentioned position to his fellow colleague, Tim Kopra.

One day after that, on March 1st, he returned back on this little blue planet we all love so much, but care about so little. This happens after he was in charge for nearly one year.

During his tenure, along with Mikhail Kornienko, Kelly launched into low Earth orbit aboard the ISS. The reason? To undergo a series of hundreds of experiments with the objective of studying the effects of long-term microgravity upon the human body. While there, throughout all along the year, Kelly photographed Earth in hundreds of different hypostases and placed a lot of them on Twitter, and here we want to present some of them. I guess all this was in a bid to let everyone know about the beauty of our home soil. A beauty we are so dependently ruining. But this is not the subject today, for now, we should just enjoy the great spectacle of nature.

You don’t have to be a traveler to feel the desire of living such moments at least once in your lifetime. All you need is a deep appreciation for the united flag of Earth. The pictures are absolutely amazing, stunning, astonishing. They all have a deep meaning, and personally, I can’t play favorites, because, in outer space, everything bears more reason. Our strong recommendation is to take a moment and carefully watch them closely. This isn’t about symmetry, our planet has its own way to make everything seem in the right place. I think this is all about the joy of being alive, enjoying every moment to the fullest. We hear about that everywhere, it’s already a stereotype, but now you have the chance of a visual symbol in this regard. Enjoy!
